Located just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Bath, just off Great Pulteney Street. All within 5 mins walking distance to the Roman Baths, Supermarkets, restaurants, museums, parks, canal walks, theatre and bars, yet a quiet residential street. The property is a 2-floor maisonette in a Grade 1 listed 230-year-old Georgian building that has recently been refurbished throughout.

The space

The property forms the ground and lower floor of a stunning Grade 1 Listed Georgian terrace. Located on quiet Henrietta street. Both floors feature Georgian high ceilings of well over 3 meters (12ft) . The kitchen opens out onto a small patio at the back, perfect for relaxing as the sun hits it in the afternoon, there is also a patio out the front, catching the morning sun.

It has a new kitchen and has been recently refurbished and upgraded but keeping in touch with its heritage. The kitchen and lounge are polished wood and the upper floor has new carpet.

The main feature bedroom has ample room and contains a 4 poster Super King Bed, wardrobe, full length mirror.

There's a brand new upstairs bathroom, with walk in shower, and a separate downstairs toilet as well.

The second bedroom comprises 3 full size single beds.

There is a good quality brand new double Sofabed in the lounge room that can be made up or linen made available, depending on the booking. An extra charge of £50 per person per night is charged from the 6 and 7th person.

Please respect our neighbours and come and go quietly as noise echoes along the street quite easily. The house is NOT suitable for parties or events and is STRICTLY non-smoking.

The house is NOT suitable for larger groups of people of university age. please do not book if you cannot verify all of you.

Guest access

You occupy the entire two floors and have direct front door access (down entrance stairs). Both patios are for your private enjoyment.

We live upstairs so we are available to help with any problems at all. Please feel free to contact us regarding any questions. I'm a history buff, and would be pleased to share with guests some historical interest in the house, and surrounding area.

The most notable historical occupant of the house was Moses Pickwick- Moses and his family owned the large and succesful Pickwick Coach company and White Hart Inn.

Dickens felt that Moses didn't treat him very well! So a young Dickens chose to make Moses the main (comical) character in his first novel -The Pickwick Papers, a parody of Bath's social scene.

Moses passed away in this house in 1869.
